Welcome to Blame Her Ranch
When Steve and Linda Blamer first envisioned the ranch of their dreams, they wanted a place to do some serious partying. Big family gatherings, events, and even weddings were activities the Blamers wanted for their personal use.
Since that time, Blame Her Ranch has had several weddings for friends, family members, and countless family & corporate gatherings. Besides the Main Lodge with it’s 4000+ square feet of game room, great room, and kitchen, the ranch offers 1800+square feet of covered decks and patios. The great lawn out back is over 18,000 square feet which is perfect for outdoor events—either tented or not.
Recently, the Blamer’s also converted their 1,750 square foot barn into a knotty pine “party zone” for their daughter’s Rehearsal Dinner and also constructed a 1,500 square foot outdoor covered Gazebo area in the woods for her wedding ceremony. This truly beautiful space overlooks the massive Gonzales Valley with 70-mile views. Both of these new locations offer seating or space for up to 250 people. Wedding parties or families (up to 44 people) can all be in one place for the whole night or long weekend. From barbecue to black tie, when you reserve the Ranch, it’s your choice, your style, your way. You’ve got full control over your event. BHR is truly unmatched by any local ranch or venues in the Santa Fe area.
So there will be no blaming the Bride at BHR… Just to be clear, we are an LGBT-friendly venue and are more than happy to blame the groom too!

Blame Her Ranch was a magical, beautiful, fun place for our wedding! It was everything we dreamed of and more. The entire property perfectly accommodated our guests for the weekend and had tons of places for people to hangout and enjoy their time. We spent lots of good family time in the barn every day for meals, dancing, and games. Randy the Ranch Manager was incredible! He was always available when we needed help or had questions, was always so kind, definitely a hard worker, and was easily recognized as an important piece of making the ranch such a special place! The cold sparks from Randy’s rentals made our first dance unforgettable. We don’t know how the weekend could’ve been any more perfect. BHR will always be an important place in our hearts and memories!

We can't recommend Blame Her Ranch enough. All of our guests raved about the beauty of the location and everyone who stayed on site thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the pool, hot tub, sauna, and the game and movie rooms! We only wish we could've stayed longer. A huge part of what makes BHR so perfect as a venue is Randy's help. Randy was always prompt in his communications, incredibly organized, and beyond thoughtful! We chose to use his services for sound during the ceremony- we got married on a particularly windy day and everyone said they were shocked that the sound quality was perfect despite the wind. We love Randy and BHR and we hope to go back in the future!!

We loved having our small wedding at Blame Her Ranch! Randy the Ranch Hand was such a joy to work with. Always answered any questions we had and felt like family when we met him! The ranch comfortably fit our whole party and provided entrainment for everyone. Our family and friends especially loved the game lounge (pinball, pool, shuffle board, foosball, pacman being a few of our favorites!), the theater room with a full body massage chair, and the hot tub was the perfect temperature on a chilly night (the best way for my husband and I to relax after our wedding). I wouldn't have it any other way and am glad we picked BHR for our wedding venue.
