The Historic is a one-of-a-kind, beautiful, classic, and charming wedding and event venue space right in the heart of Palestine, Texas. The Texas Theatre is right next to the Historic, making our venue a coveted location. Not only are we near great entertainment and flavorful food, but our space is very ample.

This place is gorgeous! Our wedding day was magical in this space. The biggest reason I’d recommend The Historic for your event, besides it being stunning is beyond question due entirely to Kaytlin! Her communication, help, efforts and dedication is what makes this place even more special!! The only thing that could have made it better, is if she were multiplied. Better yet, if she were provided with more employees to support her. That way she could delegate back of house tasks to them allowing her focus to be on the clients. Thank you Kaitlyn for everything you did to help our day be amazing!!

I was very honored to be a bridesmaid at "The Historic", a hometown wedding with our family. I arrived at the venue and met Lauren and Andrea, these are the go to gals! I had 1 job that day, to make sure that the bride was calm and happy and ready to marry the love of her life. I just have to say the bridal suite and private balcony is GORGEOUS!!! These ladies made that job easy for me to accomplish. I owe you bridal suite walkie talkies Lauren ;) The venue and chapel were absolutely gorgeous and perfect for this wedding. Venue is very upscale and chic, the flow is very fun for entertaining and visiting guests. If you're wanting an East Texas wedding, you've found it with this place.
